It always has been, and I'm too damn old to change. The most dangerous time in my life, other than Vietnam, was right afterwards when I was a (malcontent) soldier by day and a scribbler of antiwar skits & stuff by night at the Oleo Strut in Killeen, TX. Had the Army caught me, I would have done some very unpleasant hard time.

Having survived that, though, I went on to a lifetime of minor "subversive" action without much thought to the consequences.

Actually "they" are very transparent. Most of us are just not worth the getting and "they" tend to be cowards.
