I also wonder how this all started. It is obvious they do this often and are pals.

Gum must have his claws sheathed when he jumps up at Jebra. Also that they are pals because they were introduced to each other at a young age. Beautiful pair.

mockingbird would get on the tree and they would talk, each making the same sound, sort of a "rrit!". The cat was one of those that would mimic speech. Never could figure out which was imitating the other.

I did not realize that owls come out during the day. I thought they were nocturnal.

it was only a matter of time.

God only knows what's next.

One would think the hunter instinct of the cat would be to grab the owl.
