Mildred Dresselhaus -- condensed physics, in later years, nano technology. Champion for women in science (for which the Republicans are very, very pissed -- women belong in the kitchen and the bedroom, not science).

Burton Richter -- Stanford Linear Accelerator Laboratory!!! Nobel Prize winner for his contribution to the discovery of the J/psi meson.

It is just too fucking bad that Congress is so ignorant that they closed down the Tevatron at Fermilab. Fucking idiots!!!!!
