How Many People Need To Die Until Infrastructure Is Fixed?

America’s infrastructure is crumbling, and Congress refuses to do anything about it. Because of this, Americans are suffering by traveling on unsafe bridges, roads, and railways.

Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio and Sam Seder discuss this.

If President Obama said I will hold those responsible. The republicans in congress would try to impeach him as they are frog marched out the door by their arresting officers!

. . . At the very end, Papantonio says, ". . . and it's all been brought about because of Republicans and this absurd notion of austerity." That is not entirely honest. Yes, Republicans and their austerity ideas are absurd. But our infrastructure is suffering from decades of neglect by both parties. Politicians are generally eager to push for new infrastructure project that they can pin their names on. But maintaining existing infrastructure is so much less sexy than building a new bridge.
