Yeah, I recall seeing that story in the early 1970s. "Kentucky Fried Rat." Supposedly, the person who got the rat sued and received a million dollar settlement from the Colonel.

When I was in high school (in Canada, eh), we bought a case of beer and one bottle was half filled and gross looking. We drank the rest, and the next day (the one buddy who could actually grow a marginally passable mustache) took the bottle in and demanded free beer. The Beer store (actually at that time pre-union-busted Brewers Retail) clerk, apologized and returned with one replacement bottle of beer for him. Needless to say we didn't bother splitting it 5 ways.

I was thinking about buying KFC today...this story soured my tummy on the idea... ah man!! I guess I will go to Taco Bell instead.
