Jeb Bush has taken the Rick Santorum approach to Catholicism by telling Pope Francis that he needs to stay out of the climate change debate.
Jeb, a Catholic, believes that the Church should stay out of the issue altogether, and that Pope Francis needs to focus more on making us better people. News flash for Jeb Bush mitigating climate change and protecting billions of people will make you a better person.

I belive it's different for a public figure, for a Catholic and from an international media campaign platform.
Maybe he would like to engage the church in some competition with the state. Who will be the boss of whom?

Yeah, Jeb - is helping your brother to steal an election, or being one of the first neocons to get on the Iraq War bandwagon what you consider to be "becoming a better person"?

Recently Francis was keynote speaker at a Vatican conference to oppose marriage equality, invited attendees included Tony Perkins of FRC, both founders of NOM, the head of the Southern Baptists, head of LDS and the Heritage Foundation.
So yeah, Republicans are so afraid of Francis they attend conferences with him in Rome and then invite him to the Republican controlled Congress.
