Confederate flag waving protest in Arvada, Colorado parking lot

Not representative of the local population, but they've been out in force in a private supermarket parking lot for some time. There have been lots of complaints to no avail, so maybe some intrepid news organization can use this as B-roll. Or head to 80th and Wadsworth in the Denver suburb of Arvada any given evening and ask them about it.

do not represent the local population where ever they are. They are a very small minority who grab a lot of attention. I'm sorry you are having to put up with them.

Wouldn't all those people who took potshots at him look stupid if he finally ended the Civil War?

Joe Biden is vastly underestimated by so many. People naturally like him, but underestimate his vast experience and political acumen.

People have their issues with him, but I think he gets up in the morning thinking about his country and doesn't stop 'till he closes his eyes.

I believe that is much more rare than people think.

The terrible tragedy of losing his son has brought Joe Biden's amazing story to those who may not have heard it before. I think his star is rising, long overdue. And it's obvious that the president regards him as a great friend and colleague. Barack Obama knew what he was doing when he chose Joe Biden, most likely the vice president with the most experience and knowledge that we've had.

In years past, most vice presidents were regarded as an "also ran" or a "president in waiting." I've read that Eisenhower paid little attention to Richard Nixon, didn't even like him. But it's obvious that President Obama regards Joe Biden as an equal and values him enormously, as well as considering him a good friend. That's rare in American politics, but in this case the respect has been well earned.

The Confederate States of America (CSA or C.S.), commonly referred to as the Confederacy, was an unrecognized confederation of secessionist American states existing from 1861 to 1865. It was originally formed by seven slave states in the Lower South region of the United States whose regional economy was mostly dependent upon agriculture, particularly cotton, and a plantation system that relied upon slavery.[2]

Each state had declared its secession from the United States following the November 1860 election of Republican candidate Abraham Lincoln to the U.S. presidency on a platform which opposed the expansion of slavery. A new Confederate government was proclaimed in February 1861 before Lincoln took office in March, but was considered illegal by the government of the United States. After war began in April, four states of the Upper South also declared their secession and joined the Confederacy. The Confederacy later accepted Missouri and Kentucky as members, although neither officially declared secession nor were they ever fully controlled by Confederate forces; Confederate shadow governments attempted to control the two states but were later exiled from each.
