(3,544 posts)He nailed the GOP big time. It's about time someone exposed these crooks for what they are.
His speech made my day. Can't wait til MSM gets a hold of this tomorrow. We are getting to the point where MSM can no longer continue to ignore him. I mean, 10K showed up. WOW!!! Here we go!!! And the momentum keeps on keepin on.

(13,106 posts)That brought tears to my eyes.
What a fine, HONEST, decent, understanding, caring man !!!!!!
I never thought I would ever be able to say that
about a politician again.
I do not know how anyone could what that speech and not
support this man 100%.

(3,544 posts)2 months ago, this guy announced. At the time, he had 4%. Now he's in the 30's. And not everyone knows about him yet. It's just a matter of time now.
As for how anyone cannot support him, it amazes me too. But I think a lot of it is recognition. Bernie is like no other. Period. Wait til the debates start. He'll eat them for breakfast.
I am sooooooo looking forward to it.

(8,879 posts)his crowds get more massive, their failure to acknowledge shows them more and more irrelevant. I only watch them because Jon, John, and Stephen take the piss out of them, otherwise they are typically dead to me. Not because I hate them, simply because I don't care. I don't need them with their shitty filter and brainless talking heads.

(7,820 posts)And the size and energy of the crowd was just amazing. There is something very real happening here- he's tapping into something many people are incredibly hungry for.

(12,882 posts)I've professed that I'm glad to be in my golden years. Glad that I might not have to live to witness the smoking hole that the aforementioned are doggedly trying to lead us into.
Then out of nowhere (OK, Vermont), comes an invigorating shaft of light - a shaft of unerring clarity and sanity - a shaft that looks like a handle we can grab to wrest ourselves from the mire that ignorance and apathy has deepened around us. I now have a genuine desire to persist at least long enough to see this turnaround - a turnaround that so far we've only dared fantasize about - ACTULLY play out!

(57,936 posts)After that speech, I have even less doubt than I had before.
Finally, a candidate who trusts us, the people enough to ask for our help.
Finally, a candidate who is a giver, not a taker.
Finally, a candidate who loves the American people.
Finally, . . . . . . .
I just cannot believe that we are so fortunate as to have Bernie Sanders, such a wonderful human being, running for the presidency.
I'm overjoyed and ready to work.
