Is Rick Santorum The Most Brain Dead GOP Candidate?

Rick Santorum believes that the President needs to spend less time worrying about climate change and more time worrying about the sanctity of marriage. This is just the latest conservative freakout over the Supreme Court’s ruling on same sex marriage, and is Santorum’s way of distracting his Republican base from issues that actually matter to our lives.

1. my problem is not that they are stupid, I really believe that few of the candidates are stupid -

but what bothers me is that they think I am stupid. The voters are stupid.
When Santorum's wife was sick he was going to get her an abortion - but no no no - no one else should get one. he does not believe in birth control but has not had kids in years - someone got fixed!
You have Jindal who is a rhodes scholar, which means he has to be able to reason some what, yet pushing policies that have been proven not to work because he is paid to do it.
Or Cruz who clerked for the supreme court now pretending he does not understand the function of the court or the constitution.

They know better, but they are selling their souls, they are selling our future to their backers - they have no consciences. They claim to be Christian but can not be because they have no guilty, Christian Jewish what ever - religion teaches guilt and these people believe they can buy their way into heaven.

and it's true. But I think he is more vicious than anything. I think deep down that these extreme religious people are full of loathing. There is also self-loathing. Santorum is the most disgusting in the GOP or anywhere.

And those that didn't make the cut for the dumbest aren't that far behind. Dumb, brain-dead, hypocritical, lunatics, insane...give it whatever name you want. They may know well what they are saying and doing...but they are so far out of touch with reality with sanity and moral character that it is frightening.

He isn't running to win, he's running to keep his name in the paper and to cultivate an image which will help him grab cash from the rubes for a few more years.
