I remember as a kid, in school putting our pennies together to create enough money for a "care package" for some kids in Africa who needed food to survive after a drought that killed many of their crops. That kind of thinking doesn't exist in the GOP. Perhaps if they were taught this lesson, they might have grown up to think differently. When the Earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan, I heard many Republicans on twitter say ..."This is what they deserve for PEARL HARBOR!"...for me giving 800 dollars from my paycheck seemed the right thing to do..and now I am forever linked with Japan, as my dollars helped save some lives from total ruin.
