Daffy, Bugs, Road Runner, and all those others

You gotta love the cartoons of Chuck Jones. Here's a short video paying homage to his genius and his development of those wonderful characters he created.
God, I miss Saturday morning cartoons. A bowl of overly sweetened cereal, the kids in their PJ's, the cat at the foot of the bed and the TV playing Warner Brths. cartoons.

I had some good laughs watching this mini-documentary.

It brought back memories.

Thanks for posting.

I think Bugs was my alter ego. One has to admit these were more sophisticated or educational and fun to watch than the cartoons that followed in prime time... even today in my humble opinion.

It was at a store that sold animation cells. I had bought one a week or two earlier (one of Chuck's) and he signed a nice card for me and my wife at the time. It was only for a couple of moments, but it was a very special moment which I have never forgotten. His work along with other Warner animators was truly great, and of course very funny..
