Doesn't have to be from an alternate candidate or a group of megalomaniac plutocrats. Could also be a disinformation campaign funded by your tax dollars.

Brainwashed indoctrinated faith through fear of punishment haters who justify their hatred by killing the "other". When I was 17 in Phoenix I witnessed Churches encouraging psychosis while manipulating the emotions of those who had replaced critical thinking with faith from the Bronze age mind. This is how they made their living.

to keep their butts out of jail. They are more likely just people who hate muslims trying to get "revenge" after the shootings in TN.
Just a guess, but you didn't hear them saying anything religious, just insulting the muslims.

If everyone ignored the stupidity would they shut up? This is why I despise religion! Everyone has a right to their beliefs but they don't have the right to get in anyone's face...how is this tolerated? Preaching hate to instigate? What shits!

seeing it as brainwashing indoctrination. Anyone tells me they've got religion I keep my distance. I do not trust them at all. We also do no business with any company that comes to us and professes their religion along the way.

We had a small group of fundies on my campus when I was in college. Every day, the same four or five "preachers" assembled in the public area and told us we were going to hell because we were fornicators, homosexual fornicators, beer drinking fornicators, dope smoking fornicators, apostate fornicators... I forget how many different kinds of fornicators there were, but they seems very, very concerned with fornication. Of course, everybody ignored them, but that only made them more determined. The lonely martyr thing, I guess.

I once overcame a street preacher with a bull horn that preyed on motorists stuck at a red light in a nearby town. He'd walk between the cars yelling at people so when he got to me I layed on my horn and was joined by everyone nearby...he stopped! He also never made another appearance...I really dislike these frakin people!

He was destroying a Koran to incite the people who are offended by such actions. I am not a Muslim, and I find his actions deplorable. What a hateful display of intolerance and hypocrisy. Where were all the "sensible" Christian voices? I went to ASU in the late 80's and early 90's and the fundamentalists were the worst. Bunch of whack jobs who should be ignored, but when they make a public spectacle of themselves, they should be crowd-jammed and shouted off campus.

I am in far greater danger of being harmed by some fundamentalist Christian terrorist than any Muslim terrorist in this country and the media refuses to acknowledge this fact.

Just bettin' that loudmouth and his friends all supported our war in Iraq and Afghanistan and never did a day in the military.

Even with an attitude and perspective that is lenient towards the Christians, the more one comes to the conclusion, from the evidence encountered, that Christians have absolutely NO right to get up on any arrogant high horse and declare their religion to be absolutely superior to all the others, and the only way to God, with a monopoly on truth. The more I study the actual history and origins of the Christian religion, the more that I am convinced that fundamentalist Christians have massive blinders on, and theological delusions and denials that they have accepted in an indoctrination process that is essentially like brainwashing. I have traveled to Muslim countries, and have encountered fundamentalist Muslims there, and truly, they are just the other side of the same coin as fundamentalist Christianity.

in the crowd they attract - get your friends to seed your effort -

Make big signs - GOD IS DEAD - change the argument < they hate that one

Carry large balloons around, blow them up and pop them - make remarks about hot air.

Get a stack of bibles from the local motel and start ripping them to shreds - then have a group collect the pieces for a recycling effort.

This is a college. Try to be smarter than they are - use them.

get naked while covered by only a bedsheet - right in front of them. See if you can set a Guinness world record. Book or 6 pack.

Maybe dress up as clowns and drive little toy cars around them. Get a dog with a big set of antlers. Bring the circus to town.

People who want change need to take advantage of the opportunity they are being handed. I think Mohammed's acolytes are blowing it by shooting people. Can you imagine how much better press they could get if they put away the guns and helped show everyone what buffoons radicalized terrorists, and Scott Walker of course, are.

This is fun stuff. I would have little kids making jokes about them on the playground before too long. Jokes they heard from their parents.

You can't give these types the confrontation or the audience they want. The best thing I have seen is the "blend in" -- you make their message even more absurd. Create visuals that go viral like the abortion trollers.

A little humor can win these things but any confrontation at all and you can easily look like as big a jerk as they are.

Better to ignore nut jobs like this than to engage them.

I you can't stop yourself, then counter with humor, wit and humility. It will catch them off guard.

They want the attention and conflict, they want engagement.
