Activism Works: Enraged Florida Citizens Ban Fracking

The South Florida town of Bonita Springs has officially banned fracking. The city council voted to ban all types of well stimulation techniques to extract fossil fuels, which includes fracking, within the city limits.

Bonita Springs has now become the second municipality in the state of Florida to enact a ban on fracking.

Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Nothing good can come of this unnatural process of short term gain at the expense of long term environmental damage.

Denton Texas , had this idea until the governor overruled their municipal ban and signed laws banning the bans. Then Oklahoma followed suit of course. We'll see how long this lasts.... sigh.

See corporations, and fracking corporations are included, have a right to their profits and citizens have NO Rights to clean drinking water.

When Obama, or the next president, uses his fats crack authority, these bans will be meaningless.

Welcome to economic warfare, where corporations are kings and citizens are to be abused for fun and profit.
