I have been quite worried about this incident. I just googled up Bernie's natal astrology chart online, to get a deeper look at what might have been happening to him. And the problem is it is not too accurate because his birth time is unknown. According to one source, they had his natal Moon at 19 degrees of Aries, and Uranus is coming to a station to go retrograde at 20 degrees of Aries on Saturday. But the Moon is the fastest moving planet, and a birth time difference of just a few hours can put the Moon off considerably. But the whole nature of what happened - it seems like Bernie, emotionally speaking (Moon rules emotions) was having an off day, and so he got his feathers ruffled (Uranus shakes things up) by these hecklers fighting for a cause (advocates for a higher political or humanitarian cause are also ruled by Uranus). And if the position of Bernie's Moon is indeed at 19 degrees of Aries (it would be 20 degrees of Aries now adjusting for equinoctial precession) he could have met a crucially devastating moment in his campaign. And from what Matthew and Dave were talking about, it really does seem that Bernie was having an emotionally off day, and didn't have the emotional composure to recognize the opportunity and rise to the occasion. And the sad thing about all this is that if these hecklers / protesters were not in such a confrontational mood (Aries' shadow side is to get too angry and confrontational and not choose their battles wisely, or go off half-cocked) they could have done their homework about Bernie's civil rights record, and realized that they really have a real friend in Bernie.

Bernie patched things up with the BLM yesterday. He was at Netroots to get out his message. He did that. His message resonates with many many supporters of BLM, black or white. So lets not make so much of something that has opened more lines of communication and understanding and watch him keep going up in the polls. He speaks a message which unites all classes and all races because it clearly points out that the rich are behind racial, and class division.

Been a fan of Davids since he began writing with "Digby" then articles at Firedoglake, Guardian, Naked Capitalism and now at Salon.

But, his article on Salon about Bernie at Netroot's Campaign Forum a couple of days ago was pretty much the same as this interview and he wrote it without being at that particular Forum at Netroots to observe what went on for himself. It was more like someone told him their impression of what had happened and he obviously doesn't seem to have even taken the time to see the videos of the Protests and what "Bernie Really Said," he is now going further saying that Bernie doesn't seem to understand what "BLM" is about because he doesn't have the proper campaign advisers.

He barely mentioned O'Malley which seemed odd. Why the focus on Bernie and distorting the reality that O'Malley's segment (before he was shouted down) was much more of a Campaign kind of speech than what Bernie said in trying to engage the BLM Activists. I feel David didn't do his usual thorough homework before reporting on what happened and relied on other's impressions.

Anyway thanks for the interview with David--as disappointing a watch as it was to this fan of his writing.
