that this is the case? Not me. Right race, right privilege to kill indiscriminately. This is an example of white privilege.

Some types of mentally ill people should not be able to own guns. Even if on medication and seemingly under control, they should not, because you never know when they might go off their meds and lose control again.

Why didn't the laws stop this gun purchase?

Even if we can't pass major new gun laws, we need to figure out how to get our existing laws to work right to prevent things like this. I'm not saying he might not still have obtained a gun illegally, but to be able to buy one legally, with his history, is just insane.
