(147 posts)The man is ignorant on so many levels it is astounding. How flawed is our educational system if this douche bag has a following.

(480 posts)O'Reilly and his ilk like to pretend that every progressive increment in the law will open the floodgates and that law can't make fine distinctions. It's a complete load of crap. Drawing lines and making distinctions is exactly what law is for. They like to pretend that just because you allow 'A' to happen you have to allow everything all the way to 'Z' to happen. No, the law can draw the line anywhere along the way. If 21 year old can drink legally does that mean we have to let 20 year old? No, and law determines where we draw a line.
And by the way Bill, marriage is a contract, and to enter therein you have to be 'contractual'. You can't be crazy, or under age, or plant, like say a luffa, or a rock or a turtle. Turtles aren't contractual Bill. So the turtle can't consent to marry you Bill. Sorry you lying little toad.
