RIP Ms. Anderson.
I remember the song well. I've never been a big country fan, but this was a crossover hit.

Man, I must have sang that song hundreds of times. And yeah, even now and then at karaoke if I've had enough to drink.
RIP.

(23,156 posts)6. It was the title song for a movie, based on a novel
of the same name by Joanne Greenberg, about schizophrenia. Amazing book. Read it.
She also wrote In This Sign about deafness, also made into a movie, and even better than the other. Read anything and everything you can by Greenberg. An amazing and completely unappreciated writer.

I really love that song. Lynn was a great singer!
My favorite was always RideRideRide, but I love Rose Garden, too.
Martina McBride did a really good cover of Rose Garden.

But it's a great, catchy song, nevertheless! And how fitting that she be buried in a Rose Garden!
