Memories of Jim Crow and black lives

&feature=youtu.be

My friend Dr. Georgia S, McDade reads from her book, Outside the Cave II. She is the facilitator for the African American Writers' Alliance in Seattle. Her poetry is a reminder of Jim Crow's long reach. As she reminds us -- from Emmett Till to Trayvon and all the others: Black Lives Matter.

Her reading starts at 1:30. Thanks for listening.
