Quebec water bombers being sent to California to fight fires there. See it below.

I grew up on a long lake in Quebec and saw many a bombardier water bomber scoop up water for some forest fire miles away. Be safe.

Welcome 'home' Scoopers!

I can see Van Nuys airport from my porch and work near Whiteman.

It's time for our yearly air show. It's hard to miss Super Scoopers and SkyCranes when they do a low pass near you.

Too bad it's because of a fire.

My air-tactical friend showed me this cool video of a Spanish Air Force fire fighting team in action a couple years ago... enjoy.

He's in Northern California doing his thing right now.

Hope they get a grip on these fires, it seems all of the NW is on fire right now and those of us just east of that are getting smoked out.

some neocons scream no on helps us but here is proof . thanks again. also , there is an outfit that has a dc 10 , and that is an incredible sight to behold seeing it at tree top level. same outfit had a 747 , but i think it got too expensive .
