the facility has been approved and is under construction, about 5 miles from my home.

Construction begins on Cove Point LNG export project.

It's mentioned in the Video Gov. O'Malley Stopped this from happening in one part of MD, but not at Cove Point.
I figured someone might be heading to a town hall for O'Malley soon they could ask him why he didn't protect Cove Point as well.

I was thinking of Retiring down by Lusby in a few more years but I really don't want to own land that close to a potential death trap. My Niece Lives there as well.
You are there now How do you feel about it?

The Cove Point facility was approved by the state and the feds. (I worked for a federal administrative agency, so know a little about how things work.) Little a governor can do, when such powerful interests and processes are involved.

I'm not close enough to be in jeopardy in case of accident etc, but wouldn't be thrilled to live closer. There are other areas further away that you might consider. I'm very isolated.

I was considering Florida, but a Red State in a Hurricane is not my idea of a good time.

Plus being in a biracial relationship may not go over well in the southern states.

It sucks that the Red states have all the good shore line.

I'm renting an amazing home on the Patuxent. Take some time to explore. Truly good spots closer to Calvert Cliffs and Cove Point, but probably others further away too. Check Calvert County realty, and then St. Mary's.

Do you know if they allow Tiny Homes?
I want a paid for mostly off grid Home.
I found one woman on YouTube has a Tiny home in Southern MD, but she didn't discuss how she got zoned for it.

I am currently drawing up the plans for what I want my house to look like.
