Gregory Alan Isakov - The Stable Song
That Sea, The Gambler (album title)
Remember when our songs were just like prayers
Like gospel hymns that you called in the air
Come down, come down sweet reverence
Unto my simple house and ring
...and ring.

It's never too late to learn an instrument. Go git you a banjo and just start pickin'
There are so many great instructional videos now, it's like having access to a bunch of great music teachers.
This is my favorite video that uses the song. If you've ever been to Bonnaroo, you understand.

(18,186 posts)We do have a great bunch of musicians in Tennessee. I am getting so excited about playing a festival with 4 stages and a bunch of musical friends next month. Just found out I'm scheduled between two other solo artists that are dear friends, whom I've jammed with for years here and there. I can't wait. I know we'll end up jamming on stage with each other.
Good luck with your musical endeavors. Now I must return to work. Cheers!
