(2,212 posts)The American obsession with sports minutiae has always driven me nuts. I can hardly stand the local talk radio station (KYW 1060), where sports factoids are routinely given more time than politics, the environment, economics, or science.
Seriously, listeners: Are you adults or children? You need to be spoon-fed stories about games all day long and don't have the attention span for subjects that actually matter and have consequences? Arrgh.
