MSNBC on Clinton: 'Donors Are Panicking' - Poll: Nationally 'Any Lead She Had with Women Wiped Out'

(video ends/begins loop at 2:47)

Noting that this has been one of the worst months for Hillary Clinton, Chuck Todd analyzes the recent poll numbers showing Hillary loses to Ben Carson and Jeb Bush in a match-up nationally, and ties with Trump, 48% to 48%. She has dropped ten points in just about every poll. Todd notes that every time you feel she is at-bottom, there's a new bottom. Noting that when Clinton's electability is in question, that is when the donors start panicking and the hand-wringing truly begins. It is noted from the polls, against Jeb Bush and Ben Carson, any lead she had with women is wiped out.

If you take some time to ruminate on what that sentence implies, you have a pretty good idea of what's gone wrong with our alleged democracy.

But those numbers say to me when she is tied with Trump that people are voting in the polls against her not necessarily for Trump.
If you can't beat Trump you can't win.

I still like the NASCAR patches idea, for candidates to have to wear logos of their biggest donors

I don't expect anything good out of him for Sec. Clinton or Bernie.

on edit: might as well include Gov. O'Malley and VP Biden.

I just don't like this guy.

You don't suppose Chuckie Cheeze is referring to something very stinky?

Interesting form of journalism if he's investigating piles of stinky stuff.

I get a really strange vibe out of that crew. Something has cast a pall over them. Hillary may be the one they all love to hate but Hillary is the status quo, and they are the status quo. They all play for the red team and the blue team is the new red team. The red team is 'going off the rails on the crazy train.' I think they understand that almost no one on the red team is electable. Donald Trump, give me a break. If he's still in the picture by the time the general election rolls around he won't have a friend in the world. Unelectable.

What is dawning on them is that Bernie Sanders is going to win it all. The only thing that stood between him and victory was Hillary and she's melting like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.

The gig is up. The damn is breaking. The whole big ugly mess of puritanical laissez-faire capitalism is about to crumble and they can see it coming.

…for Bernie.

As are all the women in my family. Young and old.

All Democrats since the cradle and all politically active.

We don't like war mongers or TPPers.
