(111,277 posts)I can't believe even a profligate future society that can synthesize whatever it needs out of interplanetary/interstellar dust fed through a replicator system would have that much empty space on a ship, especially in cargo areas and on flight decks.
Other than that, it was neat.

(26,366 posts)I just always found that part particularly unbelievable. So maybe in normal operations you have
force fields but have some backup airlocks just in case you lose power or something.

It's a lot smaller than I expected.
