Organizing for America was really nothing more than a Wall Street friendly swarm of conservatives telling liberals to shut the fuck up while moving the Democratic Party further to the right.

OFA quickly went from grass roots liberal activism to astroturf corporate fertilizer.

When chuck asked about a shortlist for VP, Sanders responded: 'Do you need a job?'. That was awesome.
I think it's important to have that kind of 'lightness', especially in this day and age of the personality cult.

I was a bit worried that Sanders would be a bit to repetitive and serious, this interview however, proved me wrong.
Well done Mr. Sanders, well done. Unfortunately, as a European, I cannot vote for you, but I sure hope you win the nomination.

Not a fan of Chuck, but he referred to Sanders' joke as a prelude to a question about the label socialism.
By doing so, Chuck acknowledged that democratic socialism is not the same as maoism, although many Americans still believe that. The underlying message was: we both know that it's ridiculous how people think about socialism, but how do you deal with that?

Again, not a fan of Chuck but this was a decent interview.
He did not interrupt and gave Sanders plenty of room to elaborate on the issues.

Edit: typos

Whoever wrote this question is intending it to be suggestive of either communism or facism. The pajama thing is supposed to make you think of either concentration camps or of creative descriptions of the uniforms of the Viet Kong. Do Republicans write these questions?

Even Chuck Todd is avoiding the 'Gotcha' moments. Bernie makes everyone feel dignified, respectful, and serious. What a concept. You'd think that running for President was actually important to billions of lives or something.

If there is only one candidate from either party that is not pandering for the spotlight, starving for attention, or conniving to backstab, that candidate will appeal to the largest segment of the population: the segment that cares about our future more than petty politics.

What a Mensch!

As Bernie was so clear about the tax hike for billionaires I think Hillary would have eased away from that subject so as not to offend her billionaire sponsors.

Who could have watched this interview and not have a positive feeling about how a President Bernie Sanders would be.

Bernie Sanders definitely hit it out of the park.

If the Democratic debate is able to get millions of viewers and this was a preview of his performance
I think we can expect the media to finally cover his campaign more.

Do they honestly think Hillary Clinton could even come close to this in terms of presenting a convincing argument for shifting our government away from representing the interests of Wall Street and global corporations and back to representing the interests of poor and middle class?

“Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”

You stated this idea so well:
Presenting a convincing argument for shifting our government away from representing the interests of Wall Street and global corporations and back to representing the interests of poor and middle class.

Perhaps the younger Clinton weeps for the one she has become.

I cannot get over the portion of the article below...

http://www.nationofchange.org/2015/10/10/candidate-scorecard-sanders-leads-populism-drives-debate/

"On the other hand, she has not yet chosen to challenge many of the ways this economy is rigged against working people. She opposes breaking up the big banks, a new Glass-Steagall Act that would separate Wall Street’s casino from federally guaranteed deposits, and a true financial transactions tax. She has not embraced expanded Social Security benefits or Medicare for All, the necessary next battle in health care reform. She doesn’t call for taxing investment income at same rates as the income from work, or for taxing multinationals at same rates as domestic small businesses by repealing the deferral of taxes on income earned abroad which gives multinationals incentives to shift jobs or report profits abroad (with an estimated $2 trillion now nominally stashed abroad to evade taxes). She’s not advocated new higher tax rates on millionaires and billionaires, and thus is vague about the scale of her public investment agenda."

TRUST...I have none for her.

Thanks to eridani in the Bernie Group for bringing this article to my attention.

I felt it was more of an observation about Sanders' courage in the sea of corporate media member and corporate politician cravenness.

It was the last thing said, so you can judge for yourself.

I took as, "I would not feel safe if I had just told all that truth."
