Republicans in the House of Representatives are still trying to find a replacement for John Boehner as Speaker of the House. As Paul Ryan announced his run for the seat yesterday, we have to wonder why he was so hesitant to seek the position in the first place. Was it a power move, or is he just cautious to lead such an unstable and ridiculous House of buffoons?
Americas Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, discusses this on The Big Picture with Thom Hartmann.

(45,806 posts)He doesn't want to be in the loosing position Bohener was in, being blackmailed every day! I don't fault him at all, and I HOPE he can manage to get rid of that stupid oust the speaker rule! The House should have to put up with the same rules we as the American people have to...you vote for someone and if you're unhappy with them in office, you have to wait for the next election to replace them!
I admit I don't really know the Pub reps, but Ryan seems toi be better than ssome of the real wackos.

There was a reason Boehner left Congress singing "Zippity Doo Dah."
