Beware Facebook. Your relatives can call in all their friends, and before you know it, you'll have a thousand yahoos asking you to befriend them.

for my freedom, (to be stupid or something)

I wrote back that I am sick of people saying such things because we have had freedom from Britain since 1776 and since that time it has been people fighting for freedoms inside the US that have grown freedom in the US. Like the slaves were freed after we fought each other. Women were given the right to vote after they stood up and fought for it and recently the GLBT community won the right to marry.

Am I being insensitive to the veterans of today who are not jerks? BTW this guy was calling Obama a coward for not putting boots on the ground in Syria. I think the people who fight against war are the ones who really care about our soldiers.

Statue of Liberty National Monument

Emma Lazarus’ Famous Poem

A poem by Emma Lazarus is graven on a tablet

within the pedestal on which the statue stands.

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

It was a sobering reminder of what America was and should be all about. These assholes have no right to white wash our nation's history with fear mongering when their very ancestors did the same thing.

It saddens my heart to think that we can't even be American anymore because of eight years of constant terror...

in the early 50's. As Jews, they were being persecuted for their religion. I suppose if this were today Jeb Bush would bar Syrian Jews from coming to America? No, Atheists need come here? After all, we are a CHRISTIAN Nation! Isn't this exactly what the radical Muslims are trying to do? ONE worldwide religion.

It isn't his fault, it isn't Trump's fault, Palin's fault ...

They are clearly beyond unfit to be POTUS, it isn't even debatable.

But, it isn't their fault. Everyone has the right to run for office, and if they aren't fit to be seen as unfit.

The problem is the people who vote for or support them - THAT is the stupid.

Its unfathomable that any person with the first lick of sense would consider these types of people for POTUS.

But, literally 10s of millions of American's are dying to vote for them.
