I have several Uncle Bobs in my family and it doesn't matter what you tell them or where you obtained the information. They just believe what they want to believe and they will reinforce their beliefs by listening to the RW talk radio, watching Faux Snooze and congregating with like-minded friends on a regular basis.

But the uncle bobs of the world, at least in my family, are never ever this civil. It will end with them screaming at the top of their lungs and sometimes threatening to "get violent."
