TYT: Surprising New Poll Results On Abortion

A recent poll reveals six in ten Americans think abortion should be legal in most cases. The poll was conducted after the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian (The Point) discuss on The Young Turks. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"Support for legal abortion in the U.S. has edged up to its highest level in the past two years, with an Associated Press-GfK poll showing an apparent increase in support among Democrats and Republicans alike over the last year.

Nearly six in 10 Americans — 58 percent — now think abortion should be legal in most or all cases, up from 51 percent who said so at the beginning of the year, according to the AP-GfK survey. It was conducted after three people were killed last month in a shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado.” *

are likely to report social desirability bias...which is the more subtle form of what is being discussed here where respondents do not want to be associated with either the life or choice side after an event that cast either side in a negative light.

She could be on MSNBC today if she wanted to.

Actually, I don't know if that's true. She hasn't disclosed who, only that she has had offers from other, more mainstream outlets for a lot more money than TYT can pay her. She stays with TYT because they don't tell her what to report or how to report it.

Settling for less money in exchange for a good night's sleep...

Actually, I am a bit surprised -- that the number isn't higher. What the right-to-lifers lack in numbers they make up for in volume. And the media just laps it up, of course.

IF that were law, those fuckers would change their mind before this sentence is through.
