The woman says that "Trump will keep us safe"...

1. Republicans have never kept this country safe. Getting into wars and loosing them does not equate to keeping the country safe, on the contrary, it creates enemies, which in turn keeps us less safe.
2. Trump is a neophyte, he has not proven that he understands international politics, he has insulted 1/2 the World, and that is supposed to keep us safe?
3. What are they supposed to keep us safe from? a made-up enemy?

Why does Bill Maher let them get away with those comments? Any idiot who hears it ends up thinking that it is true. All republicans do is talk the big talk, only a handful know what war is because only a few of them have fought in a war. Most of the wars we have been into have been invasions, they keep calling what happened in Iraq a war, but that was an invasion...who were they defending us from? no one was attacking us....and please don't count 9/11.

Dr. West knows what he is talking about and Bill seems to poo-poo any optimistic theory. He was the same when Michael Moore was his guest recently.
