We got 40" here on the Blue Ridge of West Virginia (Jefferson County). Schools are closed until Monday, February 1.
It has been four days since the snow stopped. We live on a state road and the sun has melted far more (over a foot) of the snow on the road than the snowplows have cleared (zero). My husband and son can get out with the 4x4 because someone else partially cleared the 500 feet to the main road.
