with questionable priorities/motives and a reduced debate schedule.

(23,730 posts)6. again, they absolutely didn't expect a primary: they'd just run a feelgood GE campaign
that appeals to everyone (not all at once, mind you) and terminate any dissent with the usual "SCOTUS SCOTUS" squawking
they thought that since Sanders was the leftmost Senator he wouldn't crack 5%
they didn't just misread the situation, their entire worldview is incapable of understanding what's happening

(12,606 posts)7. And it's dangerous.
Massachusetts had it's AG, Martha Coakley, run twice: one against Scott Brown and then for Governor against Charlie Baker.
Guess what happened twice? Her campaign underestimated and seemed like they just were expecting a win. She lost badly.
We can't have a candidate, with questionable motive or morals, that acts like a conservative and expect them to win against a real conservative: fucking crazy as they are.
Voters will stay home, and Independents outnumber both Democrats and Republicans.
That's why I'm behind Bernie Sanders. At least he's honest about who he is.

(23,730 posts)8. the Coakleys and Clintons keep the checks rolling--checks that are the same amount win or lose
