One was fantastic, two would be ...?

Developed shortly after World War II, the Twin Mustang was not involved in the conflict, however, as it would have been his performance against the German fighters? The P-82 had anticipated the end of the war? What do you think? The link below provides an interesting report about these questions and an extensive collection of photographs, some rare and unreleased for me. the twin tailed fighters. I loved the P-38 Lockeed Lightning and the P-61 Black Widow night fighter also. The Mustang was always my favorite single engine fighter plane. A long time ago but I think I built a crude model of the P-38 Lightning out of wood. This was waaaay before plastic models. Speaking of which I think I have a partly finished plastic model of the Mustang stashed away in a drawer that i'll have to dig out and give another shot.
Thanks for an interesting post.
