(1,252 posts)I think most of us have had enough of such obfuscation and want transparency with our elected officials and government officials. Side note: I think she ought to tell her number one fan in Iowa, who happens to be the Dem Party Chair in that state, to allow and audit of the vote.
Why does she always seem to be hiding something?
Voters and the constituents - we don't have to settle for this. The government is hired by US. They have to answer to US. We the people.

This seems to be Hillary's Romney moment.
They must have figured the damage in not releasing them is less than letting us see what she said.
Also Goldman Sachs is not your typical private business. They are only 1 out of the 6 biggest banking financial institutions, able to jeopardize the world economy.

(10,495 posts)So after everyone who has ever given a speech releases their transcripts, you will still need to look into it "further!" That's rich even coming from you! When the issue is what you told the benefactors who made you and Bill rich, and who are your biggest campaign donors in both you and Bill's career, and this election in particular, you say we have no right to know. If you are what you proclaim to be than why hide?
How can she have any supporters after this? Amazing that so many excuse this corruption and lack of transparency. She had to add the "look at it, further" comment because she knows that Bernie doesn't have this problem. He tells everyone his positions on the issues, there are no mixed messages from him. Hillary even try's to fake different accents depending on where she is speaking, does anyone honestly believe that she doesn't tailor her message to tell different groups what they want to hear?

(1,773 posts)...running for president thing and being accountable to the people thing is really getting to her. Completely tone deaf.

There's a reason why her trustworthiness numbers are in the basement.
I'm also amused by the HRC supporters in this thread who are fist-bumping and exclaiming, "You go, girl!" If you perceive this as some kind of victory--either for HRC or for the state of American politics--it confirms my belief that both you and your candidate are seriously out of touch with the zeitgeist.

(13,297 posts)those words sound like something Mitt Romney would have uttered, frankly
but even he knew better than to look like he was about to blow a gasket before uttering them
