then sit back and watch the complaints about how unfair it is to the poor to suggest they should perhaps do a little pulling up by their own bootstraps by burning a couple of calories. Because growing a couple of tomato plants is such backbreaking labor and takes such vast amounts of land and time..
Yup, right here on DU. And that crowd can be vicious.

Mrs. Obama announced the Top Ten list regarding fun-facts about gardening. The list included the comments:
The Letterman appearance is just one of several that the First Lady has made in recent weeks to promote the book. Additionally, the books release along and her public appearances are politically-designed to highlight Mrs. Obamas tremendous popularity with Americans during President Barack Obamas reelection campaign.
The profits of Mrs. Obamas book will be donated to gardening-related charities and used for the upkeep of the White Houses garden on the South Lawn.
