But did Andrea Mitchell ask Bill Clinton to respond to Trump calling Bernie a "maniac" and "socialist/communist"? Because that was a bullshit attack, too. Was Bernie not being unfairly attacked by Trump then, or is it just that he's not Andrea Mitchell's favorite victim?
It's a bit tiring, the media's continued framing of things where not only is it all about Hillary, but also her opponent has to step in and make it all about her. Bernie has continued to defend her countless times (and rightfully so). But now his wife has to talk about this? Did they ask Hillary even once about the RW talking point against Bernie, expecting a defense from her?
But then, why would MSNBC ask the Clintons to address the disgraceful redbaiting about Bernie when Matthews and others have been doing it themselves? Silly me.
