We need to impeach every Supreme Court Judge who voted for Citizens United. Congress needs to remedy this fiction of Corporations persons. We, the United States are the only country to have this.

If we do not get control of our country back and soon, we will become a country of serfs, clamoring for any job to survive.

I am reminded of John Edwards' warning about negotiating with the health insurance companies. You can't sit at the same table with them. Obama didn't listen to Edwards who was, for all his faults, a plaintiffs' attorney who knew how to fight a strong, wealthy opponent against great odds.

You don't need to be mean or violent. You just have to know your facts, show your conviction and meet the challenge with strength.

Citizens United emasculated anyone who doesn't have endless money to throw at a cause or an election.

We have to focus on overturning it.

Years have passed since the Citizens United decision. The effort to amend the Constitution to require at least full disclosure of donors and those who buy ads on public media has been very weak and not supported by those in the leadership of the Democratic Party. I don't think we will change this new, Citizens-United reality for a long time, certainly not in time for the coming presidential election.

We are in the position of someone who is paralyzed facing a tornado. We see the dark cloud looming on the horizon and we know where to find shelter, but we do not have the means or the physical power to move, much outrun that cloud.

Having seen what happened in Wisconsin, I feat that the Obama campaign is going to be devastated by its lack of money.

Our centrist president is a wonderful person but he needs to use his authority to get what is really needed for the country and stop ignoring bad behavior. I know that is more easily said than done, but he needs to get his strongest, most committed troops -- the environmentalists, the labor union members, social activists, women's rights advocates -- all of us "extremists for justice" on the front lines of his campaign. Thus far, he has mostly maligned those of us who learned from the struggles of the 1950s and 60s, those of us who watched and learned that you must face wealth and power with moral authority -- fearlessly.

Whether it was the teachers' unions or Occupy or just "leftists" who wanted a public option, Obama has treated activists like troublemakers, preferring to hobnog with the likes of Rahm Emmanuel, Geithner, Bernanke, Pete Peterson's friends, bankers and oh, yes, yet another example, the head of GE.

I hope he wakes up and realizes that the only people willing to take the risk and face down the big money that is biting at his heels are the loudmouths on the left.

Hey. I'm with Obama on his claimed policies in many important areas. But I think he needs a far more confrontational style. Not violent, not mean, just really strong.

What happened in Wisconsin cannot be allowed to happen in November. Obama is too centrist as it is. Our country was weakened by the Bush administration. We just cannot afford another Republican president.
