The older Dem party workers in the trenches with me at the office and at the polls, they all, at some point, express how grateful they are to have lived to see this man as their president. Even at the times I disagree with him, I let it pass without comment because this man's presidency is consequential in and of itself.

I wouldn't have imaged a black president in my life time. Things can be made better.

I'm so happy that wonderful lady lived to experience this day -- along with the rest of us.

This beautiful 106 year old woman is amazing! I'm so glad she got to have this experience that she never even thought possible most her life.
