That said... those two individuals, liberals or not, are not representative of liberals or liberalism in general. While I'm inclined to agree with a lot of what the young man doing the video had to say... this does not indicate a level of anti-science, anti-intellectualism, or anything else among the liberal populace. Only among a couple of idiots.

If he thought that was bad, he should attend a tea party rally. Hell, visit one of the more conservative church groups when they start talking about what a giant falsehood evolution and climate change are - when they tell us the world is only several thousand years old... man and dinosaur somehow co-existed, etc.

I think the sample size is way too small and the label liberal doesn't apply equally. People can be liberal in many different ways. Broad brush.

Compare, for example, people that claim they lean liberal to people that claim they lean conservative on the climate change issue. Which group do you suppose embraces the actual climate science consensus? Exactly.
