Why is it so difficult to remember the Republicans ran in 2010 for the House on the promise of creating jobs?
They claimed the House was where the budget originates and said at the time if they didn't create jobs they would deserve to lose the House in two years. There were articles saying this was the Republican's last chance to redeem themselves after lying us into a war and crashing the economy through tax cuts for the rich and deregulating the Stock Market.
Now they have the nerve to claim the reason the economy is in trouble is because Obama won't let them deregulate Wall Street and give tax cuts to the rich. Not to mention Romney is hiring neocons who are talking about invading Iran.
Why can't we call them out on their breaking their 2010 campaign promise to create jobs?
Especially since they're doing all they can to eliminate them because they believe Obama will get the blame.
Recently I had it out with a Right Winger on YouTube who claimed there were 30 "Jobs Bills" Republicans put out that Harry Reed is sitting on. Every one of those "Jobs Bills" were deregulations or tax cuts. One prohibits the EPA from regulating lead poisoning. Another provides tax cuts for corporate jets. Another requires the Keystone Pipeline to be built and prohibits the EPA from monitoring it's construction or doing environmental impact studies. Another repeals "Obama Care".
Those are what Republicans call "Jobs Bills".
Why do dems act like they have to be careful not to insult these guys and why are they quick to apologize if what they DO say can be twisted into an insult?
