(198 posts)I live here in Kentucky and this is the first I have heard of this guy. If it snows an inch we have wall to wall coverage, but a guy speaking truth to power (these coal companies own E. Kentucky, as do the horse crowd runs central Kentucky), no coverage. I watch local news every morning, noon and night. I am disgusted that I have never heard of this guy. I'll check out his web site. If he has the same liberal bent on other specific proposals........ He has my vote.

(260 posts)I don't live there, and I've never heard of him before but he sounds so good. Nice to know there are some sane folk in Kentucky. Does anyone have any polling for the Kentucky Senate?

(5,069 posts)more than likely responsible for poor health quality in the state of Kentucky..specifically, occupational health risks as well as community health risks, especially from practices such as mountain top removal...That would be honest.
