(1,779 posts)Terrific, serious, sincere, with Senator Bernie Sanders asking viewers to do the right things. That Garland killing was awful -- and the corporate and police response was heartless beyond belief.
Garland tried to earn money in one of the few ways he could.
In truth he was killed because he was trying to support his family. He clearly wanted and deserved a job that allowed him and his family to survive. And he believed that the police would not hurt him too much.
His wishes were correct -- in this country we should demand jobs for those who have none and we effing should demand that the police do not kill the helpless.
Great, great call to action to vote for Bernie!!! For everyone with a heart.

neither of the dem candidates can really legitimately postion themselves as symbols of the movement, but damn i'm glad they're addressing it.
