"the practical way you get things done". HRC sometimes conflates practical with pragmatic and possible. She argues that her cautious, incrementalist approach represents the practical way to accomplish things.

But the fallacy of that logic is demonstrated in much of the Obama Presidency. The President tried the pragmatic, incremental approach and he accomplished nothing progressive. The ACA, otherwise and formerly called Romney Care, was a massive subsidy to Big Insurance touted as a way to get everyone covered. The far easier, simpler method of a single payer program was discarded as impractical and unfeasible.

So when HRC talks about getting things done, the logical question is what things? For which people? And if she makes the point that a GOP dominated House and/or Senate would not work with Sanders, why is the electorate to assume that the GOP will work with her?

are pointed out, that's seen as an ATTACK on her personally and her campaign doesn't like Bernie's "tone." That's crap - she is responsible for the choices she made in all the roles she played - elected and otherwise.

K&R for Thom Hartmann who did much to introduce Bernie to us in "Brunch With Bernie."
