(12,426 posts)Just a loyal Democrat ...Sanders is a newbie offering nothing in return. A taker from the Democratic Party who gave him a helping hand...he acknowledges now he is only with the Democratic Party temporarily and will not return any kindness or gratitude for his Host's Hospitality.
honestly. pitifully. hilariously. funny.

(1,400 posts)Which Goldman Sachs Executive will President Clinton appoint to run our economy?
Who will we bomb next?
Who will stand up to corporate power? HRC? Are you mad?
Records matter.
Pretending to be Bernie to get through the primary appears to be working.
America will continue it's decline.
Great.....

(14 posts)Your dedication sounds like blind allegiance to this progressive. There isn't much democratic about the Democratic party. The two party system is the problem. This seems to be the real point "democrats" seem to be missing.

(4,186 posts)The Third Way has run its course.. We are tired of it's BS. That 30% of registered voters supporting the Dems? If you go with Hillary, it won't be near thirty no more... That's the damage..

You argument is so absurd ... so disconnected from reality ... Only a cynical political opportunist would offer such painfully weak ad hominem as an argument ...
There is no reason you should be in my world - I don't need THAT cynicism in my life ... Gone

The one good thing about Hillary is she does change her positions. Hopefully some of these positive changes will be of a more permanent nature if she is elected, and not just campaign posturing to quell the masses.
That's the REAL difference between her and Bernie. You can pretty much take it to the bank he will do as he says, while you can never ne sure with a DLC Style 3rd Way Democrat!

(14,175 posts)I'm not talking delegates or super delegates. But if by the end of the convention, a poll is done revealing that after the months where many Democrats finally got to hear Bernie's message, that now a good majority of Democrats would prefer Bernie to run for them instead of Hillary.....would you feel comfortable still backing her?

(67,782 posts)....before more than 2/3 of the states, representing 2/3 of the nation's population had voted in the primaries.
But this is April 10 - 34 states with a combined population of 220,000,000 people have spoken. That's as good a "poll" as you can get.
And how did they vote? 59% have voted for Clinton, 41% have voted for Sanders.
Also, states that Clinton has won have a combined population of more than 166 million people. States that Sanders has won have a combined population of less than 53 million people.

(14,175 posts)The Atlantic had a poll showing Sanders and Clinton in a virtual tie nationally among rank and file Democrats at present. If that trend continues, Bernie may very well have a substantial lead over Clinton as the preferred candidate. It seems like many Democrats are re-thinking their votes from "2 months ago". With the MSM conspiring to ostracize Bernie as much as possible, and with the name recognition of Hillary, her connections with the Super Delegates in Washington, she had a huge jump start.
All I'm saying is that at the end of all this, a majority of Democrats, may favour Bernie as their candidate...despite how it went with Clinton's early advantage. I think this will be a huge conundrum at the convention if this happens.

(1,151 posts)If they allow Hill-Bill E to buy the nomination, and the Rethugs screw the Donald, you may see a Three way race in the fall. Now, last time that happened ,it helped Bill-Hill win the white house. This time, while Bernie voters turn green, and many other Dems support the Don, Mittens could coast on in with a solid 37% of the electorate.
That's how I see it.

(11,945 posts)The air is clearing and the truth about this important issue is coming into view. The opposition did their best to paint Bernie as racist in the months leading up to the Southern primaries. Brock, et. al. falsified Bernie's history of protest and advocacy for PoC. Clearly they knew who Bernie really is and were scrambling to keep the truth from the voters.
I cannot forgive them, appalachiablue. It went over the top for me. I cannot believe these are Democrats. The only word that fits is DINO. It is easily the worst thing I've seen this election cycle from either party.

(3,544 posts)turning point for me. If he then takes PA and CA, it's over.
I am simply amazed Bernie started almost a year ago, with HUGE deficits to make up. I knew once his message was pushed across this land, it would resonate. He is truly a once in a lifetime candidate. His love for his country is endless.
