Reference: from Democratic Primary as Reverend Wright attacks and sermon recordings against Obama started emerging, whispers of 'terrorist ties' with Ayers and photos of Obama in Muslim-looking clothing were shared with Drudge Report, etc. It was later discovered in released documents that there were Clinton campaign memos to 'Make Obama Un-American' (clip below)

(13,297 posts)bwahahahah - Dean's a joke now, and used to be worth respecting, before going corporate. Saying the campaign has gotten "personal and ugly" -- I think Howard Dean has forgotten the history of Clinton campaigning (conveniently) and his "harming the country" remark is as 'shill-y' as you can get.
Yes, Howard Dean, Bernie is harming the country.

(13,297 posts)When the entire political establishment and main media supports your opponent, you've been in the national spotlight for a year against a former Secretary of State and First Lady, in a state where she was Senator for 8 years and lives, and you only lose by just over 15%, and in a closed Primary, I think that is pretty great! (Did even better than Barack Obama by a over dozen delegates too...)

(24,010 posts)When you add it all up, the Sanders campaign was impossible. And yet here he is, still standing, with a path to the nomination still possible.
That is wonderful!

(108,980 posts)unhappy with her because of the campaign.
Both of them put it behind them -- and so have most of Obama's supporters. People who want to continue his legacy are most likely to be supporting Hillary.
