Everyone who is going to vote for Bernie goes to the rallies.
There are no "he's an OK candidate and I hope he wins" supporters of Sanders. They are all "do whatever it takes to get him elected, drive 100 miles to a rally" kind of supporters.
That's great, but they aren't attracting anyone else to vote for him.
