I would suggest reading The Politics of Indian Removal by Michael Green for a devastating portrait of the lawlessness and genocide by Jackson and others.

It was a fairly brutal portrayal of Jackson, but also with another side trying to justify certain aspects of it. What part did you object to?

I thought it was rather fair.

But it ends on an ambiguous note that I think does a disservice to the true history.
Jackson may have had some laudable populist affectations, but he was a hard core racist slave owner whose brutality toward Native Americans bordered on pathological.
He violated SCOTUS judgements when it suited him and colluded with the governors of Georgia and Alabama to ethnically cleanse those states for White settlement to enrich himself and his political cronys.

The 'other side' of Jackson is the white face that has been used to excuse this asshole's actions for over 150 years.
"American Lion" my ass.
