into such batshit crazy religion. I view the general christian republican sort of like the 1950's version of mainstream christianity. Out of date beliefs, but not bat shit crazy. And everyone knows that the establishment just caters to the far right for the votes. Cruz is an embarrassment to them.

a follower of Bernie, Cruz has his own agenda and that includes destroying government (including R gov.) so that his god can return and take over.

I don't think that Rs would be any happier about that than we would be. At least not the R establishment.
