Bernie understands this because the money in our politics is the root problem of this and many of our other problems. Problems like funding the social safety net, infrastructure, immigration, high speed rail, public education, health care.... With the campaign donations, Super PACs, and now speaking fees, Dark Money, and foundations like the Clinton Global Innitiative, it totally drowns out our voices. It's like having only one side getting to make their arguement and you do not get to speak.

Now, politicians only listen to their Donors, who are the ones who pick who even gets to run for office. If you are thinking of running for office you must raise some funds. If the big money says no we are running this person instead, you know that you cannot compete. Bernie is turning that on its head too. He is showing other candidates a path forward if they can appeal to us, We the People.

I support Bernie for many reasons, but by far the most important are Publicly Funded Elections and stopping Climate Change.
