One can make an argument about recent history, but one could argue that it apparently has little to do with the message here. Or just maybe it does. Just maybe that's the entire point of it.

(6,852 posts)Though I would vote to remain the the EU if I was a citizen of the UK it is important to note the European Human rights convention is part of the 47 member Council of Europe..
The EU has 28 members. The vote for Brexit is not linked to the ECHR.
I appreciate good British humor by the way and love any Monty Python references.
There are a few good ones with "What has Obama ever done for us?"

(40,416 posts)I've only seen a very few of the ST:TNG episodes. However, maybe I ought to get the DVD sets and start from the beginning. If only I could afford them. (There's always NetFlix DVD.)
One of my favorites is the one with the repeated poker scene where the Enterprise is repeatedly destroyed until the crew figures it all out. Cannot remember the title -- it had Kelsey Grammer as another starship captain in a bit role.
On edit: It was Cause and Effect
My best.
